Monster Magicals is your local spooky musical collective. The band was formed in Toronto, Canada, back in 2024 by Dolly Momoiro. Their sound is inspired by a range of influences, including hard rock, metal, nu metal, punk, and J-rock. They have played all over the city, spreading chaos through the streets with their original melodies and unique style. Overall, Monster Magicals Band is experimental and is forever evolving

Meet the dancers

Monster Magicals first launched in 2022 as a dance project influenced by the J-pop alt idol movement. They take lots of inspiration from groups like BABYMETAL and Emilie Autumn, but with a magical girl twist. They would prance around with their magical weapons, such as chainsaws and giant scissors, while remaining in their masked or sometimes unmasked whimsical state. There has always been a roster of 2 to 4 dancers. These days, only 2 monster magical dancers at a time make an appearance with the band once in a while. Dolly keeps the monster magical dancers' side active by taking part in idol showcases and inviting guest dancers to perform alongside her across the GTA.
